Your phone's location tells Descroll when you cross into a Place's zone, and your chosen apps block. Indoors, link the Place's Wi-Fi as a second signal.

You can also say “I'm at the library” with your voice, and that Place starts right away.

No. Allow Location Always and Places work while Descroll is closed. With While Using only, Places block only while Descroll is open. You can change this any time in Settings.

Yes. Only the apps you choose block. Calls, maps, music and everything else keep working, and you can keep any app always allowed.

Your apps come back on their own. There's nothing to stop. A block you kept ends with rings and a glow, then Descroll asks how it felt and what you did with the time, and one tap answers.

Every block is Strict: it holds, with no snooze, and every way out is a deliberate step. Apps come back when you leave the Place or the block ends. Sooner than that, tap your own NFC unblock tag, or use an early unlock: 5 a week by default, after a 10-second wait.

With Answer to unblock, the default, a right answer to the quiz card on the block screen opens that one app for 5 minutes.

Emergency always works: hold to end every block now, Deep Focus included, without using an early unlock. Deep Focus holds against everything else.

One number from 0 to 100 that carries over from your recent days, the newest counting most. “+3 today” is what today added. It's built from Focus time, Let go, Sleep, Reflection, Challenges and Blocks kept, and Focus time counts most. Tap it to see what shaped it.

Empty days and missing data are left out, never counted against you, so skipping Health never lowers it.

Time each day for a collection, like 20 min a day for Social. Once it's used up, those apps block until midnight. Collections are named folders of apps, like Social or Games, and every block uses them.

Not as a Place: a moving bus leaves any zone in seconds. Add a weekday time block on Schedule for the ride, or tap Block now when you sit down.

A time block you share with friends, through the cloud account already on your phone. Each of you gets your own time block at the same time, and everyone sees each person as Joined, Blocking, Kept, Drifted or Left. Nobody sees your apps, reaches, Presence or moments.

Without a cloud account, Descroll sends a link with the block's name and time instead.

An NFC sticker you pair in Settings › Block rules › Unblock tag. Keep it somewhere you have to walk to. Tapping it ends a block, except Deep Focus. A tag added during a block works once that block ends.

Use Emergency. Tap the Block card in Descroll, then Unblock anyway › Emergency, and hold. It ends every block now, Deep Focus and used-up daily limits included, and doesn't use an early unlock.

Something real to do instead, from your own list in Settings › Swaps, sized 2 min, 15 min or 1 hr+. Reach for an app out of boredom or habit and the unblock screen offers one, like “Walk the block instead”. When a block ends, one shows as Next.

Yes. Pick sites in the Screen Time picker, or type any address in the Websites row on a Place or Block now. They block in the browser while that block runs.

No. While a block runs, apps can't be deleted from your phone.

No, it's optional. With your permission, Descroll reads sleep, heart rate variability, resting heart rate, steps, time in daylight, mood and workouts for Presence, and never sends any of it anywhere. It can also save breathing resets as mindful minutes.

Yes. Turn on Lock Descroll in Settings and it opens only with your face or passcode.

Phones on system version 18 or later. Descroll needs Screen Time, which you allow during setup. Unblock tags need a phone that reads NFC.

No. Descroll is for your own phone, made for people 13 and older. There's no child setup, no family plan and no parental controls.

Billing goes through the store. Open Manage subscriptions in your account settings and cancel at least 24 hours before it renews. You keep Descroll+ until the end of the period you paid for.
